UNIVERSITY
The Campus
of Mangalore University is located in a rural area 20
km south-east of the city centre of Mangalore. The total
number of students and staff at the Campus is approximately
1,000.
Most of
the staff and students are accommodated in quarters
and hostels respectively at the Campus. Most of the
other colleges in Dakshina Kannada and also the colleges
in the neighbouring District Kodagu (Coorg) are affiliated
to Mangalore University. A total of 51,000 students
are connected with these colleges.
